Strong. Very easily adjustable for different meshes. Easy to position on the mesh. Does have a bit of an issue with the grippers tending to slip on the looser wires though, especially when straining old stretched mesh. Tighter wires can be tied off first and then released before tightening looser ones to compensate for any slippage, thanks to the unique individual clamping mechanisim. Overall good product
How does that price compare to a turn buckle . It's seems high
Found it easy to use , although missing some sought of detent to lock the clamps in place on the board
The best thing that I have ever brought, worth every penny.
Fantastic time saving product. So easy to adjust for different stock net styles. Easy to use product that works

Firstly I’d like to say I was blown away with how quickly I received it. Ordered it on the Monday morning and it was in my hands ion the Tuesday arvo!
The tool itself is everything it promised to be, well built, easy to use even though I’ve been using Hayes style strainers for the last 35 odd yrs. I thought I’d struggle to get used to them but it’s been completely fine, the “ jack the grippers” are in my opinion, the absolute best wire grippers I have ever seen and now used!
So simple and the best part I’ve found is that where the operating parts are located it keeps your palms safer from the wire as I mostly work with barbed
I was able to raise the height of my garden fence on my own. The pole stars are very sturdy and easy to install on the original T posts. My 3000 square foot garden is now safe from the resident deer. The posts were delivered to Oregon, USA in less than 2 weeks. I am very happy with my purchase.
What a great tool. I only wish I'd bought one years ago. Very easy to use and does a top job.
After a tree took out my hinge link fence, after stappling it back up onto the posts, the fence looked terrible. being able to retention the fence with this tool did a fantastic job and looks great too. The Crickler is so easy to use as well. Great product.
I had to cut into a fence, to put a stock gate in, i will add I know nothing about fencing but knew I had to re-tension the wire, and came by this product by luck. …funniest thing the neighbours thought I knew what I was doing..👍Great job
Strain Walker Classic - Chain Grab Tensioner
Awesome tool. Showed a lot of farmers.
This should last for years to come.
Strain Walker Pro - Chain Grab Tensioner
Easy to use, they have a good long chain on them with plenty of swivels if I was to order another set I would move the swivel in the chain back a few chain links to only wrap around steel posts not wooden posts.
Ordered 28days ago and still no sign of delivery!!!
Great item works well
I had one sent over to the uk And what a bit of kit. It works a treat No more. Sliced fingers in The wet and mud Probably the best purchase since a tracked knocker
Thank you Ian. Will be recommending it to everyone in see.
Thank you
I used it with the Strainer X winch instead of the ratchets that come with the pack (2 chains running running from the winch to the strainenumber ofr board) and it worked well, the trick being consistent tension along the strainer board and that is easy given the 12 holes available. And it could be that 2 winches would over-complicate things. Overall, the wish list must be the West Ender and its foot plus 2 ratchets especially if 2m but so far I'm doing well enough to avoid buying the in-line strainers to patch up problems from using the strainer board, which may not be a bad result for a first time fencer.
